The Mariana arc is one of the best examples of an intraoceanic island arc with 42 submarine volcanoes.

The climate in Mariana Islands is tropical, tempered by trade winds, with constant and invariable temperatures throughout the whole year. The islands are characterized by high humidity. The rainy season lasts from July to November, but even in this season, sunshine and warm weather is guaranteed. The dry months are between December and June, with possible downpours, so we advise you to take rainwear regardless when you go.

Saipan is the second largest island of Mariana archipelago, covering an area of 115 square kilometers. Rich in breathtaking scenery and historical landmarks with limestone, the island boasts many highlights and man-made attractions, including Island Maigo Fanang (Bird Island) overlooking the stunning emerald bay, the easy accessible Managaha Island, offering wonderful day trips, Banadero Cave with WWII tanks, cannons and natural limestone cave fortress waiting to be explored and the award-winning Saipan Botanical garden, famous for hundreds of plant species. Mount Tapochau is the highest point on Saipan, offering magnificent and panoramic views of the island. Other not-to-be-missed places in Saipan include American Memorial Park, Saipan Zoo and the Museum of History and Culture.

Tinian is a nature lover's paradise, boasting historic sites, woodlands, pristine gorgeous beaches, and abundance of water sports. It is famous for being the base from which the U.S. launched their atomic bomb attacks on Japan during WWII. Your trip to Tinian will not be complete if you do not experience the awesome poser and beauty of nature at the Bow Holes.
