Nestled in the Gulf of Guinea, approximately 250 km off the West African coast, the little-discovered islands of Sao Tomé and Príncipe, officially known as the Democratic republic of Sao Tome and Principe, form an archipelago together with Bioko and Annobon islands. Due to their volcanic origin these islands are blessed with magnificent looks, boasting fantastically abundant vegetation, vast landscapes embodied in dense forests, historic colonial culture, tropical jungles inhabited by exotic birds, palm-fringed crystal clear beaches and, above all, warm welcoming hospitality.
