Those who love fishing and hunting should take a night tour to Phu Coke, catch different kinds of marine animals and cook them on the ship.
In the very heart of Hanoi city Hoan Kiem Lake is situated (Lake of the Restored Sword). The water of the lake is amazingly blue and transparent the way that one can easily see the big black turtles crawling in the water. The lake was formed in the old bed of the Red River. In the middle of the lake a pinnacle stands, called the "Temple of tortoise". The shore of the lake is a perfect place for walking, gymnastics and recreation.
The Marble Mountains in Danang consist of five stone hills that once used to be islands. Each of them is said to represent one of the five elements of the universe: Thuyshon (Water), Mokshon (Wood), Hoashon (Fire), Kimshon (metal) and Thoshon (Earth). Several natural caves exist in the largest and most famous one - Thuyshon, where Buddhist shrines have been built over centuries, which later on were used as Hindu shrines. Thuyshon is a popular place for pilgrims, especially during the full moon and Tet (New Year according to lunar calendar). You take a lantern for going into the caves. Various souvenirs are sold here.
When taking a boat trip to the yard Bayda Chong, you'll encounter the Monkey Island, where a performance with the participation of various animals will be shown. You can visit the Fruit creek, swim at the Magic Beach and dine in the local restaurant.
The tomb of Emperor Tu Duc's is located between the thickets of red jasmine and pine grove in Hue. In fact the emperor is not buried there, but in some unknown place. For fear of grave robbers, all the 200 servants, knowing the real place where the emperor was buried, were beheaded.
When being in Fu Coke, on the way to the port one can visit the farm where pearls are grown, see the everyday life of Vietnamese fishermen and mountains of fresh seafood at the fish market. When the ship stops in the archipelago Anhui, you can start your fishing exploring the corals meanwhile, or you can just swim or sunbathe. A lunch with seafood on the board will make your trip complete.
Vietnam is a real open air museum rich in historical monuments, wonderful nature, reservations, flora and fauna offering hundreds of hiking, biking, adventure, cognitive tours, that are impossible to study in a day, a week or a month. Being here once, one will certainly be back.
